Firefighters from Lodi and surrounding communities were battled a three-alarm house fire Thursday.
Crews were dispatched to a report of smoke coming from the second floor of a residence on Christopher Street.
Fire crews arrived to find heavy fire and smoke showing and transmitted a second-alarm to bring crews to the scene and a subsequent third alarm for station coverage, according to a department Facebook post.
Firefighters initially conducted interior operations until conditions changed and forced crews to change over to defensive operations with master streams.
